Radio Silence, Check One, Check Two

Don’t worry, I’m still alive (I’m sure you were quite alarmed). Things have been going on and by “things” I mean certain life changing events and by “life changing events” I mean I’ve become a father.

Connor Michael was born on 4/1/11, nearly a week after he was supposed to be here. He was 20.5 inches long, 8 lbs. exactly. His arrival wasn’t easy and suffice to say the three of us have had to spend some time recovering but everyone involved is well (aside from the sleep dep).

Writing has pretty much been on hiatus since 3/31 when Michelle went into labor and I haven’t had the bandwidth to get back on the writing train (although I hope to correct that starting tonight); the most I’ve done has been some editing on “Toll Booth” and poking at Ralan and Duotrope.

I’ll do a week update tomorrow probably but, for now, all I can really say is that my wife is incredible, my son is awesome, my friends are great, and I am tired. Tired but happy.
